Getting Started
Thank you for signing up with My Learning Labs. After you registered your child and selected a plan, your child's account is ready. What's next?
1. Watch the parent introduction video
The parent introduction video includes important information and recommendations for getting the most out of the program.
2. Update your child's password and nickname
Access the parent portal to see your child's assigned username and update their password. Your child will need their username and password to access the platform. If you forget your child's password, you will need to go back to the parent portal and update a new password.
We would like Zoe to address your child in the most familiar way. If your child has a nickname or if their name has a special pronunciation, you can setup a phonetic name and listen to a preview to make sure Zoe's pronunciation is correct.
3. Watch the student introduction video with your child
​The student introduction video will help your child understand how to log in to the system and what to expect.
4. Set expectations and practice routine with your child
We recommend practicing several times a week. The program can have a transformative impact on your child's learning skills, academic performance, and self-esteem. But the process cannot be rushed. Your child will start implementing newly acquired skills over time. The system will automatically add a new assignment to your child's account every day, based on their progress, and limit their daily practice to 30 minutes.
5. Access the student portal
Your child can access the My Learning Lab application by clicking on the "Student Portal" menu on the website, or they can access it directly at student.mylearninglabs.com.
The application will ask your child to allow microphone access when prompted by the web browser. This is mandatory to allow Zoe to hear your child.
6. Get support
We are here to support you and your child on your journey. You can find our blog and frequently asked questions under the resources menu on our website. On the support page you can send us questions and schedule an online consultation meeting with a My Learning Labs learning expert to discuss your concerns.
